11-spot Ladybird    Coccinella undecimpunctata

I have not seen this species in my recording area, although there are old records from the Lee Valley.

All my records have been from the Essex coast. I have found several on Sea Beet Beta vulgaris maritima at the top of shingle beaches, which is probablly a good place to start searching for this species. I have found them all by eye and several where found amongst large numbers of 7-spot Ladybirds and a few Adonis Ladybirds.
